About Deck Trainer

Deck Trainer is an independent web application for practicing vocabulary and other flashcard-based study material. It is intended for anyone who wants a straightforward way to memorize and review information - vocabulary, facts, or anything else that fits a front/back flashcard - using a spaced-repetition schedule that brings cards back for review right around the point you'd otherwise start forgetting them.

You can build decks from scratch, or import decks you already have - Anki .apkg files and CSV are both supported. Cards can include images and audio, not just text.

What it looks like in practice

A deck is a list of cards you own, each showing how many are due for review today. Reviewing a deck shows one card at a time - you attempt to recall the answer, reveal it, and rate how well you knew it. That rating is what drives when the card comes back.
